Hopefully, someone has some experience with that. Are the 3 P's (Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, and Physical Assessment) accept by other schools. For instance, if I received my MSN from WGU and I want to get a post-NP certificate, would other schools recognize the 3 P's from WGU or would I have to retake those classes? I have to say I find the naming of the courses a little strange at WGU. Pathopharmacological Foundations for Advanced Nursing Practice and Contemporary Pharmacotherapeutics almost sounds like you are taking two pharm classes. Thank you for your help.

The tuition is what attracted me the most to the Fort Hays program. Hello everyone, I am also interested in the MBA-HM at WGU. Is there some kind of leadership or business experience required in order to get accept into the program? By the time I would like to start, I will have 2 years of RN experience. I do have 5 years of experience in a different field but not business though. Did all of your classes transfer? How many extra classes do you have to take besides the nine core nursing classes? How challenging are the classes, are you able to double up while working full time? How much time do you spend a week doing class work? How long did it take you from the time you applied to the time you started with your first class? Sorry for all my question. The first semester you can choose between 4 or 5 days a week. I think the 2nd semester is also 4-5 days. I know that the 3rd semester is 3 days a week, but the 3rd semester is only 6 weeks long. Idk about the 4th and 5th semester. You will have a chance to try the uniform on intake day. You also can order the uniform on intake day, or you also can order it online.

The 2600 includes the tuition.

The 498dollars for tuition is only for the 2 required courses that you have to enroll.

For my first semester the tuition was 498 dollars. I spent for the first semester for books, tuition uniform, background, complio, ati, shirts, shoes, parking, skills bag, stethoscope, etc. 2600dollar ( I did not have to pay for the immunization stuff). For the next semesters I only have to pay tuition, and I think there is one more book we have to purchase.

Maybe, you are missing a GE class. Don't worry though, if SON made a mistake they will still accept you.

Congrats to all of you who got in, and for those of you who are alternatives, stay hopeful. :) If you guys truly have 80 points then you should be at least an alternative. Either the school messed up with your points or you are missing some classes. Like queen wondaful said, you have to verify your classes.

I wasn't an alternative, however, we had plenty of people who got in as an alternative. So your chances of getting in are pretty high as an alternative. For those of you who really have 80 points and are an alternative, I would call and have your points recalculated. Usually, 80 points should get you in for sure.

The shoes need to be completely black. The pants need to be purchased with the top since they have the RCC logo on them. Unfortunately, you cannot just get any black pants. Good luck to all of you.

Why are people always saying, I don't want to wait around to get into a public school? I don't know a single college in the inland empire that still uses a wait list. I finished my prerequisites in winter 13 and started nursing school in fall 14. Everything is based on grades and entrance exam score. The fact is, if you have good grades and a good entrance exam score, you will get into a good and cheap public school. In my opinion, only people with a low GPAs consider a 100+k school. The quality of the students is lower at these overpriced schools and that is the reason why they have such a bad nclex pass rate.

Do you mean the Taylor videos? I could not find them either. I tried the CD's that came with the books, but they are not on there either. Btw. the Taylor CD's only work on a PC but not on a Mac. I just will wait until tomorrow, for sure they will explain how and from where we get all the materials.

I hope it's more like 75-80 is a C, 80-90 is a B, and 90-100 is an A. :)

I was wondering how the grading system works, since we need to get at least 75 to pass the class. Is it like 75-85 is a C, 85-95 is a B, and 95-100 is an A?
