Did anyone else receive two emails from Ms. Wanda about signing up to take RNSG 1301 even though we have already taken it?

How long did it take for you guys to receive your clearance card from BON?

Does anyone else NOT have their hepatitis B vaccination complete? I know everything is due by August 6. I emailed Ms. January a few days ago but she has yet to respond back to my email.

Nope I haven't found a parking spot yet. I looked up the syllabus to the pharmacology summer 2013 class and it was 37 pages long... 4 exams, quizzes, and a group project. This class will be TOUGH.

Is anyone in the Tuesday-Wednesday 9-12 class? Our professor is Brenda McDaniel. I looked her up on learning web but there's no syllabus for Pharmacology. I also noticed the fall 2014 class schedule is now out in case anyone is wondering what their possible class schedule will be like for the fall semester. It says we can't add any classes for the nursing program yet until we are officially admitted into the nursing program.

Speaking from personal experience, if you want answers to your unanswered questions I highly suggest you go to Coleman yourself, pay the overpriced hourly rate for parking, and speak to the nursing counselors face-to-face. Just imagine how many other students are trying to call in each day with questions of their own. The counselors are way too busy to take the time to answer phone calls. Visiting them in person gives you their undivided attention and will get all of your questions and concerns answered. It may be a little time consuming but when it comes to something as important as this, you want to make sure it is taken care of. Good luck!

Just out of curiosity, what is everyone planning to do after completing the ADN program at HCC? Almost all the major hospitals in the med center will only hire BSN nurses. The only hospital I know that still hires ADN nurses are memorial hermann and texas children. Any thoughts?

I hope we all get in! As far as the book I'm not too sure which kind we need. I was just going to wait till we got into pharmacology and get the syllabus from the professor.

The nursing advisor said we should get an email at the end of April to find out if we can take nursing pharmacology. But even then, that still does not guarantee that we will be accepted into the nursing program.

Yep they accepted my application. Now I have to play the waiting game. Did you submit yours? Today is the last day!
