  1. I'm a new grad and just landed my first RN position. I was wondering what nursing associations are the best when you don't have a specialty. Or which ones are the best in general to keep up to date with health care and evidence based practice? This is really important to me and I want to put my money in the right place. Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the responses! It seems so overwhelming!!
  3. So I am a new grad and I am scheduled to do the ACLS skills testing on the 11th. I'm really over my head with most of it. It's not like I havent heard the stuff before but I haven't had the real life scenarios so make it sink in. I already paid so I was wondering if anyone had any tips on the skills part. I don't know how hard it will be to pass it. I'm kind of freaked out and burnt out from studying everything!! I took my nclex t two days ago and have this in another week..... I always do this to myself! Like most nurses I'm type A and have bebeen trainedto be a crazy over achiever!! Help?
  4. This was a great post. I am a new grad and often wonder how i am going to keep it together when i can barely see a picture of a cute puppy and not tear up. I think it is appreciated by patients to see that they are not just another disease but a human being. Thanks for this :)

I really think that people appreciate when they see your emotion because they realize they are not just another patient. Thanks for this :)
