My apologies, it was a term I always used in my years as a HCA, just kind of kept using it! I was successful in my application, so I'll make sure to stop using it the term in my new role! Many thanks for you advice

Hi all! Long time lurker, first time poster! i have 3 years experience on a busy surgical ward. I have an interview on Monday for a band 6 post on my ward. I need to do a short presentation on how I would implement a training lead nurse on the ward. Now I'm stumped! So far, (very rough draft) I have incorporated clinical governance, mandatory training, that I feel it's really a 2 person job; maybe one for the RNs and one for untrained staff. Id like to talk about budget constraints; time adjusting people who come in/stay late to complete e learning but I don't really have much knowledge about the budget! I can draw on some experience of arranging training as a link nurse for another speciality, but that takes minimal effort on my part, and it's up to staff to arrange to be present, I just provide the dates! i think I just need some advice on the direction to take this. Ive seen you all give such wonderful advise, hope you have a little left for me!!
