The coordinator at Barry told me that interviews would start in June or July

Last year they sent emails over a few days. I received mine a day after they started sending them out. I know of one girl who got called 1 day before the last interview date. Don't lose hope!

I Agree with the last posters that you absolutely can and should be able to get accepted into schools if you continue to do well moving forward. Some schools will only consider the last 60 or so credits. I was in a similar situation and was accepted to a competitive program and never asked about the previous grades. I also briefly addressed the issue in my personal statement. Just focus on continuing to do well.

I have worked at a children's hospital and also in a NICU in an adult hospital. I do have my CCRN. I applied to 1 school.

I know of 1 person who received a letter specifically for alternate status

Anyone else not get any response as yet either? I know denial and alternate emails have gone out as well. Anyone else still waiting for a response?

Nothing over here. But I did get a call asking for clarification about my transcripts. Tomorrow has to be the day! Good luck to us all!

I am an NICU RN who also has adult ICU experience. I interviewed at a school that uses clinical scenarios for evaluation. Although the school accepts NICU experience, all of the clinical scenarios were based on adults. Just something to keep in mind depending on the school you choose.

Just for clarification. The new standards will not require you to have a MSN in order to apply for the DNP programs. You can enter with your BSN. Most programs will be BSN to DNP

I had my interview yesterday. The student assigned to the group room mentioned that by Wednesday decisions would be sent out. He said maybe even Monday or Tuesday. I asked my panel and was told this coming week for sure.

I haven't heard anything further. I don't think we'll hear more until closer to the deadline.

Hey. Do you have any more info about the DNP program? Do you know if the first semester or 2 are online like some other programs? What others did you apply to? I'm applying to FIU so far.
