Admission Office. Help!
But if they tell the students who are applying for their program to receive a certain average and an acceptance will be guaranteed, shouldnt they stick to their word? Because if the admission average is an 86 then they should accept anyone with an 86 or higher

Admission Office. Help!
Hello everybody. So I applied for the nursing program at University of Ottawa. I applied to both collaborative program and the main site. I got accepted to the collab program in march but not the main site. From my understanding, I thought that universities also take into consideration your mid term marks of 2nd semester. This is not the case with u of o apparently... they told me the last person they accepted was in march and they had an 86 percent while I had an 85 percent. I now have an 88 percent (due to 2nd semester mid term marks) which makes me qualified to be accepted to the program. Theyre telling me that when they accepted the last person in march, the program became full. And they will not start accepting others as people start to decline the nursing offer. It just confuses me how other universities are accepting people based on their 2nd semester mid term marks as well but u of o nursing is not??* I just dont know what I should do, and if they are allowed to do that?

Applying for nursing and im so worried!!
Alright, so I know nursing is extremely competitive! Im soo nervous about getting in. Honestly this is the only program I want to get into but im not sure if I will!! So im applying to the nursing program at uOttawa as my 1st option and the collaborative program of uOttawa with algonquin college as my 2nd. The admission averages are 86-88 for my 1st option and 82-86 for my second option and they only accept 120 people for each of my options! I was wondering if these marks will give me a good chance of getting in or not??? Bio 85 Chem 80 English 90 Advanced functions 95 World issues 97 Excercise science 97 Its a 90.7% avg. Im so worried!! Also, since my prerequisite marks are kind of low, would the universities reconsider me? Or are they just going to calculate my top 6U courses?? Thank you!!!!! Also, who else is applying to uottawa nursing and with what averages??
