The bsn program at CSULA moves straight into the masters program. Why would you choose sfsu over that?

I called the school of nursing yesterday and they also told me we will find out the last week of April (for the BSN)

Hey all, I went to EAOD and was accepted and sent my deposit a while ago. However, I am getting really weary about the fact that the masters portion is online. Nursing is such a hands on and collaborative profession, how can they expect us to learn what we need to succeed in this field sitting behind a computer screen? So far western is the only school i have gotten into, but recently i have been thinking of withdrawing and getting an absn from a state school or something ... Any advice?

So its safe to say its definitely not top 50 right? Haha

It was my understanding that in order to continue on to the masters program after the absn we just need to pass the nclex and maintain a 3.0. If we have to "apply" to the masters portion, is there a chance we may be denied? I applied to this program in order to get a masters degree, not to stop at the bsn!

At my interview they told us we wouldn't know until early March. I'm hoping there are still some spots open, and those that were already admitted were early decisions.

I received an invitation to the "Early Acceptance Opportunity Day" today for Feb 12! I'm super excited, but also very nervous! I have no idea what to expect! Should I come prepared to be asking questions, or will I be the one is asked questions? Is it a formal presentation? Or a mix-n-mingle thing?

This is probably a dumb question.. but what was "Early Acceptance Day"? For those invited, did you all turn in your applications early for early review, or were you highly qualified/competitive applicants that they wanted to interview first? I hadn't heard of it until I read this forum.

I have not been contacted for interview yet and I am starting to get nervous! I received the email stating "Your file is ready for evaluation by the department" on December 9th. Has anyone been invited for a February interview yet? If so, which date?

@opx322 after reading your post, i called to find out my status. They said I should have recieved a rejection email a week ago It seems like a lot of emails have gotten lost somehow, so you may want to call if you haven't heard anything yet

Has anyone who interviewed for FNP received a rejection? Or has it all been acceptances/wait lists?

@ayah99 yes - I interviewed feb 5, and I haven't heard anything back yet :/

@droux, where else did you apply? I could only find 2 entry level FNP programs in northern Ca; Samuel Merritt, and UCSF.
