Hello everyone, I'm so thankful that there's a site like this that helps me and other nurses get information (and answers) regarding nursing-related questions. I'm currently residing in the Philippines, graduated BSN, passed the local board exam and working as an RN for a local hospital. I have about 3 years worth of experience and counting. I'm hoping by early next year (2015), my petition to be a permanent resident becomes a reality. My first goal is to take on NCLEX but I'm hearing stories how difficult it is to qualify if educated outside of the U.S. My question is, would my experience being a nurse plus education qualify me to be allowed to take the NCLEX exam? Thanks and hopefully someone could shed some light. More power to allnurses
