    Thank you, that is helpful. My brother is a paramedic in Detroit and he Said Schoolcraft and Madonna University are good ones to go to. Waiting a few years to get into a program seems very trying. I wonder what most people do in the interim.

    I am 33 and living in Monterey CA, my wife and I want to move back to the midwest to be near family. We are trying to decide on Detroit or Cleveland, I have looked into going to college for an RN degree. Is anyone on here familiar with the two year programs in either of those area's? Thank you.
