  1. Sure no problem, I graduate magna cum laude, not sure exactly lol....that was a long time ago for me! Also, take your GRE! pain in the butt, I got like a 307 which I hear if it is over 300 it is competitive. good luck!
  2. I have been a nurse for 6 years. Started working in a Level 1 ER for 4 years, now have almost 2 years of SICU experience at another Level 1 trauma hospital (currently charge RN). I have my CCRN, CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse). I took and Intro to Organic and biochemistry course through Iowa Centra Community College and just passed with an A. I have volunteered throughout the past few years with different running racing events as a medical volunteer. Biggest thing that I think my resume is deficient in is my lack of hospital involvement. I always have worked so much overtime that I never really got involved in councils, so would suggest doing some of that.
  3. Hi I have an interview in February for Albany CRNA program. I was wondering if anyone has any insight on the interview process. Also if there are any current or past students, how do you like the program? How did you choose Albany? How soon after the interview do you hear back of a decision? Thanks for any information!

  22. has anyone heard for the February interviews???? they said end of this month.
  23. yes it was a two page paper that on the front asked how often you saw and did things, the second page asked about volunteer experience, school, publications you have had, and groups you participate in at work. Is this the form you had already filled out? I emailed them the other day and they said if we get an interview we should get a call the last week of January and then yes interviews are still those dates in feb. Are you coming from out of state or do you live in Pittsburgh? I am just wondering if it is a bad sign since I would be traveling from Chicago....I am feeling a little discouraged. what are your stats if you dont mind me asking?
  24. Hi I am new to this website. I was wondering if anyone has applied for 2014/2015 CRNA program at University of Pitt and are still waiting on March interviews? I turned in my application mid December and then beginning of January they sent me another form to fill out? Anyone that has interviewed already is that a good sign that I may get an interview with them? Do they call you to notify you if you have an interview, any idea when that may be? Anyone know stats on how many people they interview and how many people usually get in? Sorry lots of questions, getting kind of anxious since I have not heard back yet. Thanks for any info!
