  1. If you haven't gotten that email, I would probably call Barry and just verify that your application is complete. I submitted in December and called around February- that's when I found out that my GRE scores had never been received and had been misplaced
  2. Congrats everyone! Does anyone know when we will find out about the location we will be placed at?
  3. I also got the call yesterday!
  4. Good luck to all those interviewing today!
  5. Hello all. I wanted to post that I got the confirmation email today for the interview on March 31st
  6. I have not received a confirmation email yet. They let me pick between the two dates and a few different time options for the interview
  7. I got the call too. I'll be interviewing March 31st
  8. I have not heard anything yet about an interview. You?
  9. All I can tell you is that most places that train new grads straight out of school are going to make you sign at least a 2 year contract (that doesn't include the 4 months of training they provide you with). I have a 2 year contract in a MICU in Florida. In theory, the 2 years will pay off the amount of money and time they spend training you to start in the ICU as a new graduate.
  10. I received an email today stating that my application was received by the Anesthesiology Department for review. I am hoping that means we will start to hear back soon!
  11. I know that the interviews started in March last year.
  12. I haven't received that email yet that tells you to submit your resume. I submitted my application December 16th. I called the other day and they said I should get the email this week and that they were behind from the winter break. Hoping I get it soon so I can make my application complete.
  13. I plan to apply to USF eventually but so far this is my first application.
  14. Did you receive an email with the things you needed to email in? Like the resume and things. I haven't received one but I submitted my application on the 16th of December and I think the University closed that day
  15. Have you received any sort of confirmation email? I haven't yet but it is winter break for the school.
  16. I just submitted my application. Just waiting on my second letter of recommendation. Good luck, everyone!
  17. My stats are 3.7 nursing GPA, CCRN, 318 GRE, 1.5 years in a medical-surgical ICU at a community hospital. I am working on my personal statement now. I hope to submit my application by the end of December. Good luck, everyone!
  18. Hello all! I just thought I would start a thread for those of us applying. I have started my application and I am working on my personal statement now. How are you all doing? I have taken the GRE and passed my CCRN. I still need to get my PALS. I also need to ask for my letters of recommendation and send in my school transcripts & GRE scores. I'm going to try to apply for the Tampa campus.
  19. I had no problem getting job offers in the specialty that I like straight out of school. However, I do have a resume with CNA experience and a decent GPA. I would recommend looking into residency or new grad programs that will hire new graduates. However, most of the programs have 2-year contracts.
  20. I got my results today at 9AM and I took my NCLEX at 8AM on Friday June 5th
  21. I took mine Friday at 8am and my results were posted around 9am! I assume yours will be up around 3pm! I owe all my studying to the HURST review content and then the Kaplan questions. The Kaplan tests are similar to the NCLEX because some of the questions were quite obscure to me.
  22. I paid for quick results and it says PASS!!!! :) Woo!
  23. Thank you! I am hoping it is enough. I felt like I did terribly after the exam, but I have heard that is how everyone feels.
