  1. Hi everyone! I'm 18 years old and in my first year of college. I have some questions about crna school and the profession in general. 1. What is the program like? (If you are a crna I would love to know about your experience!) 2. Is there housing available for students at crna schools? 3. Does it matter if my nursing specialty before crna school is ER, OR, ICU, or med/surg? Is one preferable over the other to meet crna school requirements? 4. As previously stated, I'm 18 with no medical experience to date. Is there any way I could find an entry level medical job to get my foot in the door? I've tried applying online but all jobs require some experience or a class/certification.
  2. I'm interested in hearing the experiences of those already in CRNA school. I'm considering it over medical school and would like to know what it's like for them.
  3. Hi everyone! I'm a freshman in college considering either med school or CRNA school. Can you tell me your experience with CRNA school? Can you work? Do the schools offer housing? Student loans, how you study, manage to live on your own, etc. Thank you!
  4. Hello everyone! I'm interested in knowing, have any of you in the nursing profession gone back to medical school? I'm curious because I'm torn in between the two careers and would like to possibly do both. If you have, how was it? Let me know your experience and how you did/are doing in med school!
  5. Hello! I'm 18 years old and a pre-nursing student. I'd seriously been considering medical school, but now I'm questioning it for financial and personal reasons. I'm leaning more towards NA because if I were to become a doctor, I was considering anesthesiology as my specialty. Can anyone tell me what it's like to be a NP or NA? How is it getting a job? Pre reqs for grad school? Student debt? & right now as a student, does anyone have advice on getting medical experience and networking with medical professionals?
  6. I am 18 years old and currently enrolled in a community college. I want to get a nursing degree, but I also want to go to medical school. I am completely aware that nursing is not easy and the nursing program does not fulfill all the requirements for med school. My question is, what should I do? Has anyone else done this before? I'm getting stressed out because I don't know what classes to choose and the advisors at my community college are not helpful. I wanted to get my bsn and work for a year or two before applying to med school. If anyone could offer suggestions it would be a great help!
