They have some very good slick talking employees. If you do question the contract, they tell you that you read it wrong, or that they will get back to you and never do. They are very good at being deceitful.....

Thank you just beachy I will look into your suggestions. Nurses work hard and it is a shame that there are companies like TCN that would take advantage of them.

Justbeachy, TCN does guarantee that you will pass their courses. They also state they will provide tutors for any courses you are having problems with and they don't. When you call you talk to a person that reads from a script, and it is all ways the same thing,"review your study habits and keep trying". I believed what I was being told, which is why I have trust issues now. I do take responsibility for my actions (which is believing in a company that is a scam). I have been paying 247.00 for almost 2 yrs.and I dont want any of that money back, I just want my contract canceled, the money I have paid is a very expensive lesson learned..... I guess no one has ever taken advantage of you........

Justbeachy you are correct that it is like a personal loan, however TCN does not tell you this when you sign up with them. I thought the school was financing this and then after the first month I found out it went through a credit union. This is just wrong in more ways then one. BBB just sent TCN the complaint I filed and TCN said they sent me a letter answering my complaint. TCN did send me a letter that stated "We provided you the material and you are obligated to pay the loan." PLEASE IF ANYONE HAS ANSWERS......I NEED HELP.

I was swayed into signing with TCN, was told I would be able to get my RN in 18 months. I can't pass the practice exams so I haven't been able to take the exam to even try to pass the course. I have called for assistance and was told the same thing "review my study habits". I have complained to the better business Bureau and to the school over the phone and in writing, each time I am told "I can't cancel my contract, and there is no time limit." They have gotten me for $15, 000.00, that I can't afford and I can't go to another school because I don't have the money. Can anyone help me with this issue? I am 54 years old and have 21 years nursing as a LPN , never have I seen such uncaring people. It bothers me to think we have such under handed people that takes advantage of people that might one day save their life. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!
