  1. I have a learning disability!! The school barely wanted to accommodate my extra time!!!! However they did!!! And I graduated from that 10 month accelerated nursing program with an 85 average overall !! Although I did struggle in anatomy but my final grade was 77% on that section! I was also told anatomy is the deciding factor.... 75 % was passing!!! Don't give up don't quit!!! Some of these fellow nurses r rude!! There's more than one way to skin a cat!!
  2. Lol wowwwwww thanks guys!!!! My pt is now use to me, and takes his meds , he suffers from a lot of confusion.... Since we're all here...How long to tell if nursing is for me?? I'm trying to figure out whAt part of the job I don't like.. Would it be better as a RN... I just don't know.
  3. Yes very true... Rouse the pt !!!! Lol
  4. Hi yea it's the normal condition of the pt. yes it's given w/I compliance. I try to make him last on my round.... But!!! I do the best I can.. It's just how long should I try to arouse the pt?
  5. I new nurse (LPN), and I have a pt that refused to wake up and take his meds!!! I at least like him to look conscience when I give him the meds, and needless to say he doesn't... And I have to check his FSBS... Which he barely moves for. So I have done the FSBS first then tried to wake him, but still nothing... I'm giving the pt Prilosec and megace (appetite stimulator). Any suggestions!! So my question is at what point should it be a refusal? I don't want the man to choke.
