I don't see why not. The only thing that is a little scary is that UNLV requires the HESI A2 test which covers Anatomy and Physiology which I took about 6 year ago. 2 Attempts are allowed to score a 75% or higher yikes!

Hi and thanks for the feedback. CSN advised that I may apply elsewhere and transfer the classes over. It seems that UNLV is accepting applicants by the July 1 deadline for the Fall Semester which I would take Pharmacology and Nursing 305 (their version of Nursing 101) as a 3 and 8 credit hour course. I would transfer these to CSN and my first semester will be completed and on pace to Finish Fall of 2015. I am emailing the course description now to CSN and hopefully will have this as smooth as possible. It looks like I need to take HSC 100 and PSC 100 first at UNLV which there is time over the summer.

So you are saying CSN wont accept nursing credits from other schools? I found a Nursing Pharmacology course in Oklahoma I could take online and replace NURS 125. I really don't want to sit out the next 7 months almost and do nothing while I wait on CSN. I look at it costing me 6 months salary. Does anyone else know of a work around to take Nursing 101 for 6 credits elsewhere?

Hi, It looks like I will have all of my prerequisites completed by end of May. I will apply for the RN program September 1, however are there any nursing classes I can take from May through December somewhere else? Online? That will transfer over to CSN?

How are the classes there? Tough easy? Do you recommend any teachers?

One more question. I don't know why everything is an uphill battle with CSN, but I just transferred in my English 101 and 102 courses from Canada and they will not accept them as a replacement for English Composition 1. My English 101 was called Proficiency in Writing. CSN insists that my transcripts need to say English Composition 1. I am unable to obtain a syllabus or catalog from my school as it is no longer around. Any suggestions or am I stuck having to take this course again?

So I would like to start nursing fall of 2014 but I just saw that the application deadline is march 1 2014 for fall. I'm currently taking bio 223 and 251 and semester won't be over until may. Would that make me ineligible for the fall and I have to wait for spring of 2015? Can I request an exception? I am historically a 4.0 student and have completed all but my current classes and bio 224.
