   I'm sorry your first attempt didn't go well. The HESI program should give you remediation options. I think the best bet with Vocal is just practice, practice practice!

   I'm applying to a school in the San Francisco Bay Area, if you're local I'd be happy to give you more info :) The reading passages were not long at all! The longest was probably three (short) paragraphs.
