  1. Hey! Sorry for the late response! I like central campus and I believe the professors I've had so far are great, they have all prepared me in different ways with some being stronger in lecture and others in lab. I don't know how North campus is but I always hear good things about it. But I really don't think there is any reason to shy away from central if it's closer to you
  2. Just wanted to pass by and wish you guys a great semester! I am starting GIGU this semester and the best advice I could give you is to READ READ READ. There is no other way around it guys! & pay attention to the charts in your Perry & Potter because some Professors like to use info from there for tests! Please take it very seriously from beginning to the end of your semester, eat, breathe, and live nursing school lol! & make friends and study groups because they will be your support (: Let me know if you have any questions I'll be more than happy to answer them before we all start on Monday. (I am at central campus btw). Good luck y'all!
  3. They only have online if there are enough students who want to do the online program
  4. To be honest if you can, start reading now. If you don't read ahead you will fall behind very quickly. Also you should get the Fundamentals Success book because it gives you an idea as to how your questions will be. You need to manage your time very well while you're in the program so I suggest a planner and planning out your week as italia will teach you if that helps. You should also put a good amount of hours practicing your skills in the lab that really helped our group. My last piece of advice is if at first you feel like it's too much and you feel like giving up, don't! Things will start clicking together and then you start to see how everything you have learned is applied in a real setting. Good luck to you all I know this semester has been stressful for us, but then again it's summer term so you guys might just have a little more room to breathe
  5. Yep very excited! ??
  6. They told me it's just to fill out something the dean forgot to mention something with basic info like our address or something. Also on the paper they gave us it says tomorrow at 8 am everything will be up on D2L
  7. Chapter 27 and 28 infection control and patient safety
  8. You will see everything on D2L but it says on our syllabus that D2L will be up at 8 am May 12th. And yes you have to print two copies of the syllabus one to keep and one to sign and turn in
  9. Did anyone from central get an email asking to pass by on Monday before or after class to fill out additional paperwork?
  10. My doctor didn't write the mm he just put negative for TB on the ppd slot
  11. It went from 9 to about 2
  12. Hey for theory is anyone wearing the scrub pants with the polo? Or are you just going to wear the polo with jeans?
  13. I got nurse mate shoes they are really comfortable
  14. So I noticed online the scholarships changed from May to June?
  15. Where do we go for the scholarships that open in May? Because i went to the BC website and it says they open in July
  16. Just got out of orientation there is A LOT of information. The dean went over all the policies and all our questions. We were provided with our syllabus for theory and lab including schedules and book lists. We all wore regular clothes but I don't know if it's different for the other campus. We also had someone speak to us about ways to be successful including time management. Take a lot of notes because they will give you a lot of useful information!
  17. I have no idea, I was wondering the same
  18. $6.36 I believe
  19. Awesome thank you
  20. Is this the fundamental success book?
  21. I turned in all my paperwork but it didn't have to be in a binder I don't know if that's just for south and north. I do have a binder for my student portfolio where I have a copy of everything like they asked as well as my original certs in the plastic inserts. That is also where I put my orientation packet since it is in handout form.
  22. So far I only bought the books for theory and clinical. I'm waiting until orientation to see if they give information about the books for pharmacology and math as well as the kit.
  23. Yeah I believe it contains all the paperwork we will be filling out. When I turned in all my documents the last told me I needed to buy it
  24. Don't forget to pick up your orientation packets for central our orientation is this Tuesday! So excited ?
  25. Never mind I called them I don't know why it would have changed because I didn't need a re entry app I've been attending broward. But Nichole fixed it for me, she's quick through email for those who call and aren't having any luck
