Hi all! What do u think about this offer from Aya? It is for Med Surg in So Cal. I am not a first time traveler ~I have had two previous 13 week assignments with another agency that paid a lot more than Aya is offering: Weekly Housing: $548.08 Weekly Incidentals/meals: $84.00 Taxable hourly wage: $23.33 Total weekly pay for 36 hours $1472.00 With Insurance remove Incidentals: $1388.00 The recruiter is giving me the whole travel nurses don't make as much as they used to and this is a top rate schpeel What do u guys think??? Thanks !!
  2. Hi everyone! On average how long does it take once an agency submits you to a hospital, for you to be accepted by the hospital or not? I have been submitted to two different hospitals by two different agencies earlier this week. , but have not heard anything and I am getting anxious! I have 6 months travel experience in MedSurg and my last contract ended a month ago (I took a permanent job in Corrections when my contract ended, that I hate, and I am desperate to get back into travel nursing!). In your experience are you usually accepted by the hospital you are submitted too, or does it just depend? Thanks in advance!!
  3. I have been a State Surveyor for the last 5 years. Your license is absolutely NOT at risk because of THE FACILITY'S deficiency. I would definetely run from this facility. If they are going to lie to you and freak you out into staying, what else would they do??? Definetely not a good place to work!
