    I have a license from the state. After the violation I did attend a HIPPA course through a local nursing school to regain more knowledge on the law.

    Hi I voluntary surrendered my CNA license due to a HIPPA violation. Even though I didn't agree with the discipline I did what I thought would be the quickest and painless to deal with. My question is I am currently in nursing school and wanted to know if I can still apply for an RN license is I have a discipline on my CNA record. PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS RESPONSES, IF I WANTED AN ANSWER TO A JOKE I WOULD HAVE ASKED ONE....
