Hey, I live in Ohio and I am a student at Lorain County Community College. I am currently working on my prerequisites as I am on a waiting list of about an year for the ADN program. I am planning to shift to Los Angeles, CA probably in June, 2014. I have no idea at all about the nursing schools in LA. I have been trying to do some research online but I am completely lost. I want to know are there any schools with no waiting lists? And I don't want to spend too much money. So, I really want to apply at a community college. Can someone please tell me what are the admission criteria and waiting lists for community colleges in LA? Is it really hard to get into the programs in LA? I will be completed with most of my prerequisites by the end of next semester I have completed A&P, statistics, psychology, sociology, English composition and my current GPA is 4.0. Would that help me get into a college faster? I have no idea where to start from. I really need help. I would appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you.
