Jefferson Community College RN program Watertown, Ny.
Thank you! So those classes are apart of the program? So would I only have to take those few nursing classes then and not worry about the rest I've already done? That would make the work load so much lighter! Do you think having my associates of pre nursing already will help my chances of being accepted?

Jefferson Community College RN program Watertown, Ny.
Hi there! im thinking about applying to jefferson community college for the RN program but I am so confused on their program. I am from Wa. and may possibly try to attend this school. I know the program is a two year program and that to get in you must have bio, chem, algebra completed beforehand. Does this mean that you complete A and P 1 and 2 , stats, psychology, microbiology and all of those other classes while in the two year program? I am confused because I have finished all of these classes allready and want to know if I will not have to take them if that is the case! Also can I have general tips about the program is it very competitive? Do I need to take the TEAS test is it a good program etc. I also would like to know if there is any BSN schools near Watertown. Thank you in advance and help is appreciated!

Thank you , that makes more sense . My first two years were paid for since I went to community college. I talked to the woman in financial aid had she said I'm looking at about 37,000 roughly. Sucks being only 21 and have to use parents income. I just can't find myself to get loans in that amount for a school. I don't know if it's worth it

Transferring to WA State
Your gap is good just make sure all those sciences are b or better ! I live in the Lacey area and this is my las quarter for my associates of pre nursing I'm takin a and p 2 and organic chemistry yikes! But then I will be done and can apply to different schools. I have heard Bellevue is a good school to go too also try the Seattle area schools and olympic college in bermerton

Transferring to WA State
I'm from wa and our schools are very hard to get into almost every school requires a b or better for all science classes or you need to retake them this includes a and p 1 and 2, chem 121, microbiology, lifespan psychology ,stats , public speaking all usually need a b or better or you cannot apply. Most schools also want you to have your CNA license before applying as we'll. good luck

We'll I got my letter in the mail saying I'm an alternate which really sucks considering I will have my associates of pre nursing this quarter , have taken my CNA course , HIV blood pathogen training , CPR and work in a medical clinic :/ I have tried everything to make me a good candidate I can only think about retaking classes as my downfall which I had to do for a few considering I work full time during school and an only 21 talk about stress I hope somehow I get offered a spot congrats to those who got in and good luck
