  1. Hahah it makes me feel a lot better to read your guys' posts. I actually really enjoyed Anatomy. I even enjoyed dissecting cats. I am taking Nursing Fundamental 1A and 1B this semester (split into half semesters as one class). I took all my pre-reqs at a community college so I shouldn't have a problem with retakes if I needed to. I only took each anatomy once. But I think I'll do better by having less classwork my first semester than anything. I'll have an easier semester than the planned curriculum for other students which is the nursing course, anatomy 1, english 1, and intro to psych. I'll spend whatever free time I have on catching up with anatomy. I actually found out I already own the anatomy coloring book. I must have never used it when I took my first anatomy course.
  2. Thanks so much for your help guys! Yes I did get into the program with these grades. The C+ is my lowest grade (it was a very rough semester with a bunch of personal problems). I'm still a little split but I'm thinking I can get the Anatomy Coloring book and try that for a semester, and if for some reason by the end of the semester I feel very behind I can do Anatomy the next semester. I can just treat it like my own class on the side. I only have the 1 class in the spring so I might as well haha.
  3. Hello All! I am excited to say I have been accepted into a Nursing program starting in the spring! I have been working on all of my pre-reqs at a Community College so I will only have to take the actual nursing courses once I am there. My concern I'm coming across is that I took Anatomy 1 in Spring of 2012 and Anatomy 2 in Fall of 2012. Over a year ago. I am a little worried that the knowledge isn't as fresh in my mind as I would like it to be. I did perfectly fine in both courses with a B+ and a C+ respectively. I was wondering if you guys thought it might be better to retake these courses in Nursing School? I am recently unemployed, but have enough financial aid to live off of, so Time and Money are not an issue. Would it be a waste of time and I should just stick to the actual nursing courses because everything I will need will be in nursing courses? Or will taking Anatomy again only help me? I'm also concerned if a lot of my fellow nursing students who are also taking Anatomy at the same time as the Nursing courses might have an easier time than I since the information is fresher in their mind. I really appreciate your guys' opinion!
