  1. Thank you and Good Luck!!
  2. After verifying with the dean I only had 27pts(2 classes from Collin were not accepted) and a HESI cumulative of 436(in the letter it said 430 but She verified I had 436)!! Thank you!! Good luck to you as well!!
  3. Hey y'all!! Good Luck to all of you!! I just accepted a spot that opened up for the Fall 2014 program!!! I am beyond excited right now!!
  4. ^^ wasn't finished!! Have to see if I have any hep A immunizations and figure this Sentry MD out!!! Make everything is uploaded to their site correctly!!! I haven't started and it feels annoying!! Booo!! Thanks for letting us know!!
  5. It feels so last minute to have to do this!! I need to check my immunizations see if I have any
  6. Thanks for pointing that out!!! I have no idea!! But the way I read the page, it seems like yes we have to complete it through Sentry MD before applying!! But you're right, does that go for us spring 2015 applicants!!! Some people may have turned their apps in before the Sentry MD was posted!! I'm emailing to ask!! If anybody finds out first please post!!
  7. I plan on applying to el centro, Brookhaven maybe collin!! Schools nearby!!
  8. I know that's right!! Lol!! But yea just apply anyway!!
  9. You should go ahead and submit your application with what you do have!! That way at least they will review it and you will know exactly what you need or are missing and what they accepted or didn't accept when you apply for the Fall!!
  10. Awwww!! At least you can re apply!! The repeating a class rule has no expiration date!! I would have loved attending Baylor!!
  11. They do a basic check up and check your vision!! They just pretty much make sure that you are capable of performing whatever requirements are needed as a nurse!! Lifting type of stuff I'm assuming!! I haven't turned my app in yet but I plan on doing so by next week Friday the latest!!
  12. Good luck to you!!
  13. Awwww!! I'm not in!! I repeated a course more than once!! I had taken a class like 9 years ago dropped it and tried again that same year!! So when I decided to go back to school I retook it and passed but that's what disqualified me from even being able to apply to the program!! I was so excited!! Either way good luck to you!! I hope you get in!!!!
  14. Me toooo!!!! July is almost here!!!
  15. I've been trying to respond to your first question, but I was out in Colorado and where I was...I had terrible signal until I hiked up to the top of a mountain!! Back home now!! Hahaa!! Anywho, I went to high school here in Texas so I used my immunization record from school!! I was current on all immunizations as well(including hep B series) bc I had taken a CNA/Phlebotomy course!! The only thing I did not have was the 2nd dose of varicella which I got a titer for bc I had chicken pox!! The titer took 3business days to come back!! During my physical all I got was the skin test(TB) done and my titer!! I also got a flu shot from Health dept!! As far as I know and read you can apply as long as you have the first two series of the hep B shot!! Initial dose then the 1month follow up!!! Hope this helped answer your question!!
  16. Woah that's a lot for that kit!!! If I were in your shoes....if my GPA is awesome I wouldn't want to mess that up!! If I can still withdraw from chem without it affecting my GPA then I would withdraw(not drop bc then that's a F)!! At least I have my lab kit to reuse when I do decide to retake chem(bc it is a required class towards a BSN for UTA) so it wouldn't be a total waste of $$!!! If I think i can pass with a C(min to receive that 1 point on the app) and that C will not drastically effect my GPA then I would tough it out and get my C(if it's too late to withdraw) But from past threads, min point was 27 then last application period it was 28pts(HESI cumulative 430)!! 31pts WITHOUT chem is still pretty high!! I would take my chances and apply with those 31pts keep my awesome looking GPA and also apply to other programs!! Good Luck with your decision!! =)
  17. Good Luck!!!!!
  18. Getting into to Baylor would be so amazing for me!! I have two little ones so moving is not even an option right now!! I applied to el centro for fall but I had 27 points with the cumulative HESI of 434 and the cut off was 28pts and HESI 430!! I talked to the dean and they didn't accept two of my classes but she said I'm on the waiting list!! Booooo!! However, my goal is to get into Baylor
  19. Yes, I will be applying to El Centro as well!! I haven't looked into other programs. I have my CNA and Phlebotomy license from Collin College!! l haven't applied to any other schools. How about you, have you applied to any other or plan on applying to any other schools!?
  20. I knoooww!! There has to be someone else on here that applied!! Maybe they haven't seen this post yet!! Yes I live about the same distance!! Close to N.Garland/Richardson area!!
  21. You did great(for no studying)!!! And with that many points it sounds like you're in!!! They will have your transcript already if you took classes at DCCCD!!
  22. I just read an email from Elaine saying she received my application along with a few reminders, she also stated that letters would be sent out mid-July!! I'm so excited!!
  23. True!! Do you live close to the LHSON!? I can't believe no one else has joined the forum!! I made another under the Texas Nursing and nothing either!!
