I have been an LPN since 2010 and have been on and off the wagon when it comes to going back for my RN. If/when I were accepted it would only take me a year (3 semesters) to finish and then nearly double my pay. I am so sick of doing nearly everything an RN does and getting paid enough to be lower-middle class. Im 33 years old with four kids who seem to get more expensive every year. My husband is self-employed and we all know how that goes......so at this point Im feeling like I HAVE to go finish my RN because of money, and theres no way my family could take me going back to school again for 2-4 years either time-wise or financially. I know none of you know me, I think Im searching for reassurance anywhere I can find it right now.
