  1. Congrats to everyone! I'm interested in applying for Mercy for next Spring. If possible, do you all mind sharing your stats that got you accepted?
  2. Congrats to everyone who was accepted! This whole process is giving major anxiety LOL
  3. Yup! I applied as ABSN and the same date shows up when I login to view my application portal.
  4. Yes, it is self-paced! You just have 6 months to complete it in total.
  5. I personally don't see any double lines on my portal. When did you submit your application?
  6. I'm in the same boat! I did the hw for this current module 2 weeks ago, and I'm super scared to take the next test! I was reading on reddit that some ppl completed lifespan and nutrition in 3 weeks but I truly don't understand how LOL
  7. Its a lot of information - easy read but plenty to read. There is homework to complete for every module. The only thing that throws me off is the testing format. Im so used to multiple choice test LOL. There are essay questions, fill in the blanks, etc. So far I'm at a B+ with 3 more modules to complete as well as the paper final. No changes on my end either!
  8. NYU accepts Portage Learning - I'm doing developmental psychology right now on there.
  9. I had some questions for admissions and I wanted to share in case anyone is in the same boat: "For the Accelerated 15-month program, prerequisites do not have to be completed by the application deadline. They must be completed before the first day of classes (matriculation). If you are currently taking classes at the time your application is submitted, you can still submit your application, and make sure to list these courses on your application as "in-progress". This doesn't affect the strength of your application, but it just means we will not be able to use your grades as part of the review. You will need to send a transcript, with your application, showing you are enrolled in the class, and that it is still in-progress. Once the class has been completed and graded, you will need to send an official transcript again, showing your grades."
  10. I believe NYU lets in roughly 200 students each year for the program. Their website states that all prereqs need at least a C to be considered. There is no entrance exam.
  11. I'm currently in the process of applying. I will be taking a few courses that I'm missing on Portage Learning to submit my application by the deadline!
  12. All of that is too much to deal with. No one has time to take chances. That's why I decided to go elsewhere.
  13. Almost forgot about this board. Ive been accepted but after doing my own research, decided to go elsewhere.
  14. Exactly. This is where people go wrong. They'll tell you the school is accredited BUT under some other names. St. Paul's is not accredited by the NLN. When I went for my interview, I specifically asked about this. I was told "yes it is accredited...yes..yes" but I asked again, " is the school nln credited?" Real answer : No.
  15. the whole process sounds different for you than it did for me. I wasn't handed dates or anything.
  16. Wow. When I asked after my interview, they told me I should begin the process and hold on to it. Gonna call the school tomorrow.
  17. I agree. I decided to wait until I find out whether or not I got in.
  18. Congrats!! And yes, prayers will be said for all of us! Good luck!
  19. Omg congrats BlessedLady! I haven't seen anything yet. -fingers crossed-
  20. The waiting is making me sick smh lol. Anyone finished with their physical exam papers ? And I didn't receive the background check papers either. I don't like that they make us fill out all this paperwork before knowing if we get in. Getting my hopes up lol.
  21. I asked the president about the changes. He says it's to find out whose really cut out for the program. Before it just seemed like whoever passed the HESI a2 had a chance. It's them trying to raise the standards of the school instead of it being a "money making school."
