Hello, So I am going to be starting my pre-reqs for nursing either this fall or in January 2016. I have been doing some research about how to prepare for my journey to be a nurse and I must say that I am a little nervous. I'm 23 about to be 24 single no kids and working in a auto factory I feel that I am in a good place to get started but for some reason I feel unprepared on what I should be doing now even after looking up information. Like getting myself organized and how to prepare for this journey. I guess what am asking for is any advice or information from anybody on how they prepared for nursing school and how they got organized and ready. And also any information that you feel would be valuable for me know as well as any information that you wish someone would have said to you while preparing for this. All comments will be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I just currently got a new job as a Cna. It's not bad yet but my ultimate goal is to be a primary pediatric nurse. Anyways I don't wanna stay a cna for more than a year I am in school to become a medical assistant but after thinking about it. I don't know if I wanna go to college for that and be thousands of dollars in debt only to make probably 3 dollars more than what I'm making now. I was thinking about going to a vocational school that offers a medical assistant program for like 4,000 dollars pay for it complete it then start going for nursing. However alot of the schools aren't accredited but I was thinking if I pass my exam and get certified will I be able to get a job at a hospital, nursing home or doctor's office as a medical assistant even though I went to a school that's not accredited.
