  1. No, I have never had a stay at the hospital and am simply curious to know what reality is like working as a nurse. The textbook only teaches so much...
  2. When dealing with a patient, which proves more important, genuinely caring for the patient and making them feel comfortable or providing the most efficient medical treatment or is a combination of the two?
  3. I am just starting to take my pre-req classes for nursing school and have found out that it is eating me up as I currently work full time in a high stress job. Does anyone know anyways to really deal with this? Since I am only 18, making less than minimum wage, quitting is not an option unless I have something else set up already. Mainly, any advice on how to deal with the stress of working and studying at once because everytime I mess up, which is quite often, I struggle to pick myself up and try again. I know how to work, have done it since I was 11, but I do not know how to balance these two things and both require my time. I spent the entire last weekend studying just to stay on schedule in 2 classes when I have 5. What are some methods that you have used to deal with the pressure and stress while without totally isolating yourself?
