Hi everyone, I didn't think this thread would gain so much helpful communication when I first posted it. It truly has been so helpful! I just wanted to let everyone on here know that after some careful thought, I decided to go ahead and make a FB page for us students going into the program in the Summer. I am thinking that due to covid 19 we might barely be able to meet and create study groups etc, or just chat and ask questions, as classes normally would. Therefore, I thought that we should have a place to be able to communicate better as we navigate this first class, fundamentals. I noticed this is what is normally done in threads once decisions are out and class starts and it seems like a good idea. I gave it careful thought because I dont really use social media. I also dont want to do anything online that would jeopardize my standing in nursing school, so I want to be extra cautious on how we all communicate on this fb page. I do think we need a better place to communicate then this thread now that we have moved on to the next step. I also think we should use something that is not on such a public forum. Anyway, I will create the page by the end of today and post it here when done for others to join if youd like! We just have a few more weeks left!

Did you receive the coursepoint? Or your textbook? Would it be that the coursepoint is out of stock?

I don't think so. I was told that she would only reach out to you if you were missing something.

Some people may still hold onto their spot until they hear from another college...so maybe alternates can be accpeted even after this deadline if other people give up their spot eventually.

Has anyone purchased the coursepoint for the class? I bought it on amazon but I'm nervous it might not be the same exact thing as that in the bookstore. If someone purchased it from the bookstore can you please post a picture of it so I can compare. Or send me a message of it. Thanks

According to their multi criteria..the HESI score is pro rated. I believe I called and asked and they said they do accept it. Whoever wants to know..just check out their website or email them.

What does 1-4 semesters mean?

I submitted both my HESI (86) and TEAS (80.7) score with my application. I believe it states that you can use HESI score, but, be sure you took all the subjects that the program requires.

Thanks, I did too. Sorry, when you actually click on the document next to background check, does it say complete on the actual document? Because even though mine is in process, at first glance it looks like its complete, until you click on the document and it has pending written in large letters over it.

My background check is still in progress on castlebranch...has anyones actually been completed ?? Or is it still in progress?? I hope its okay as tomorrow is already May 8

Hi, I have just relinquished my acceptance into this program. So grateful to have been accepted. I rememeber I almost didn't make it to drop off my application before the deadline, I couldnt find the office and I made it with 5 mins to spare. However, I was excepted elsewhere, which is 15 mins from where I live, SAC is 3x times that. For my son and I, the closer college is best. Although not the only reason behind my decision, distance is a big one. Goodluck to all who are accepted into the program!

Hi, yes I have mine. But I ordered it April 10 and just drove to pick it up an hour away on Monday. I just wonder if we would need it for the lab aswell...or just clinical...I dont know. But yes I remember them saying clinical would be the last 4 weeks of the program. If you are going to wait, Maybe ask to pick it up instead of ship. Even with picking it up I had to wait a few weeks though. Dont take this info as advise though, when in doubt ask someone in the program. ?

I thought it was a little odd you had not reveived an email yet. Kind of thought they were still considering you. CONGRATS!! Honestly I think we cant try and figure out their acceptance process exactly. Sometimes we get points wrong and dont know all the ins and outs of the process. FYI, to others...an administrator on another forum said we cant post names of faculty

Hi, I am so appreciative I got accepted into this program. This is the second school I was accepted into so far. I'm very surprised as I had been through alot in my journey to applying to nursing schools. I applied with maybe 89-91 points...honestly I'm not really sure. However, I was accepted into another school much closer to me so I may be giving up my spot. Goodluck to everyone.

Yes I did. I did it with tracking to make sure that it got there. The post office has been affected by covid19 also so sometimes there can be delays. However mine got there the next day with priority shipping.

WOW! CONGRATS !! Yes, complete castlebranch, order your books and uniform and send in the documents that was requested of us in the email from the staff. You won't get a registration number until everything is complete.
