  1. I haven't any luck yet still. It's really disheartening. But if maybe you hear of any others I'd love a hint! I hope your own search bears fruit!
  2. I know what you mean. I've been having the same issue, and even got as far as an actual interview before they say 'we already have too many new grads.' It's been very rough, and I've been looking everywhere too. I almost am afraid I'd have to leave my family here and go back to my original state...
  3. Hello, I am originally from Florida and recently moved to the middle Tennessee area (Lewisburg/Chapel Hill to be a bit more precise) and have only recently gained my RN license in either state (So I am considered a 'new grad.') I have an Associate's Degree. I've been applying to several hospitals in Franklin, Columbia, Murfeesboro, Shelbyville and Nashville to little avail. Many ask for experience which I sadly do not have. I admit I am new to job searching entirely, so interships/externships/new grad programs did not cross my mind until an HR finally mentioned it. However, google searching for new grad programs or new grad friendly job openings in Tennessee tend to try and take me too far from my residence. I'm willing to go as far as Nashville (~1 hour drive), but I hope I don't have to go much farther than that. I also see places like Vanderbilt, but it seems they are not open yet to applications, or I cannot find an application on their site. Any nurses in these areas have any hints or advice or a sort of list of new grad programs, internships, externships or places open to taking a new grad? Anything at all would be very much appreciated!
