Sounds about right, with experience and other certifications you will earn more.

So I have orientation as a CNA at a long term care facility next Friday, and I have a few questions such as what should I wear (scrubs or business casual)? When would be a good time to ask about pay/benifits? What should I expect of orientation? they said it would run about 6 hours. Any advice or suggestions are welcome. Thank you in advance.

I thought it was very easy (keep in mind everybody's experience is different). My advice is study your skills and practice them as much as possible. Also, i know your nervous keep in mind your instructor wouldn't give you anything you can't handle. Last but not least when you leave the bed in the lowest position, give the resident the call bell, wash hands, and ask if they need anything else before you leave.

I was wondering what other certifications we can get, and how I could go about applying for them (whether it was through work or through school). Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
