  1. Hi there, I know this is an old post but I am wondering if it was hard to get that much in the form of loans ^^ 160s/180s... I will start school in August and from what they tell me they will give us the cost of attendance and no more. It also seems like the private sector, Wells Fargo/Sallie Mae, will only give up to the cost of attendance as well. I am wondering how the people with families increased this amount in order to support their families? Thanks!
  2. Hi there, I am set to start CRNA school in August and I was wondering if there are any other single parents out there doing it?? I would love to hear any encouraging words of wisdom. I know how difficult and demanding school is and have a pretty good child care plan... I'm just already stressed out to the point I tears thinking about making it all work, school, finances, loans, clinicals... Any advice?
  3. Hi there! CardiacRN I also interviewed that day with the first interview group! I also heard back Oct 16!!!! Yay! Can't wait to be classmates! I work in the STICU! I def remember you! Congrats! Do you know much about financial aid? I know that we get a guaranteed 20,500 from federal loans but I am wondering about cost of living....will be doing this on my own! Yikes :)
  4. Hi there! I got accepted to VCU 2014 as well! Can't wait!!!! I already live in Richmond and work at VCU if anyone has questions. I think it's a great city!! Lots of good restaurants and good bar scene! I have a two year old though so no time for partying any more. Ido think you all moving to the area will like it although we may not have time to enjoy once the program starts! I am concerned about finances and obtaining loans since I will need to essentially live off loans while in school! Anyone have any tips?!?
