  1. I am so excited, I got a phone call on Wednesday night to let me know I was accepted into the nursing program for January 2014!!! I wasn't expecting to start until Fall 2014. Turns out I was the first student on the waiting list to start in the Fall, someone dropped out for January so they called and offered me the seat!!!! It is a 2 year program for my Associates in Nursing. I am so excited but nervous at the same time. I am mostly sad about leaving my full time job. I love my job and am sad to leave my work family. I have been a medical assistant for 10 years. Im scared to not have my full time income. I was planning on getting a part time job as an emergency department tech. Three shifts from 3pm-9pm. Does anyone have any advice or tips about starting nursing school? What is your favorite and least favorite things? Did you work at all while going to school? I look forward to hearing from you :) Thanks!!!
