  5. I was looking on the Spring El Centro 2015 thread and it looked like the cut off was 27 or 28 as @Lnduke81 said! Hopefully if I can get 11 points on the HESI I can apply with 28!
  6. Where is everyone doing their physicals at? I live around Garland and was just thinking about going into a CareNow. I have BCBS PPO if thats any help!

  8. How did you guys study for the math portion? Just work and re-work problems or what?
  9. I am also taking the HESI dec. 20! I also am signing up for a HESI for Nov. 18th at the North Lake college.....I WILL pass this test! lol
  10. What's October 15th???
  11. How is everyones application going so far? Just got back from taking the HESI, I got an 80% english composite 72% Science 60% on math :/ definitely retaking it for the A&P and math portion! Wasn't expecting that many conversion/metric questions. Besides the Elsiever study guide what else do y'all reccomend to help with the HESI? Immunizations are done, need to get my physical, flu shot, and my cpr is taken through my HPRS class.
  12. Thank you so much!!! :)
  13. I'm not applying for the spring, (applying for fall) but I'm having trouble signing up for the Hesi A2 on the evolve website! Whenever I click on the student access link under 'my evolve', it takes me to a page, and I clicked 'register for distance testing exam' and there is something I have to fill out, and there is a part asking for a Dept. ID (which idk what that is) and at the bottom there is a drop down bar that says 'Exam*' and it says there are No exams......help!!

  15. Anyone know if we need to get our shots in order to take the HPRS 1202 and 1204? And what shots if needed?
  16. I'm looking into applying for Fall 2015, I'm taking A&P and ENG 1302 right now, after this semester I'll have the prerequisites and might end up retaking Psych 1301 (I made a C) to better my GPA. I have not signed up to take the HESI A2, I just recieved my study book in the mail today actually! I'm studying with the HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review by Elsevier, I heard this book was almost identical to the actual exam...this book will be my best friend for the next few months! I'm hoping to take the HESI 2-3 times before I submit the score I want (if it takes that long). This summer I'll be taking my two government classes, and in the fall I'll be taking the two HPRS classes (1202 and 1204 to give me that 5 points) and if E.C. doesn't accept my Dance appreciation (DANC2303) instead of Art App. and public speaking (speech1315) instead of fundamentals of speech (speech1311) then I'll take those two classes. I need to start on my Hep shots and get some that are more than 10 years old re-done, get CPR certified, get my transcripts from CC sent over, and alot more! So much to do!!
  17. Hello all, I'm attending Collin College (in plano, TX) and just recently discovered that Math 1342 or Elementary Statistical Methods is not a requirement (or at least not listed) on the new requirements for AAS - Nursing. Its called a nursing innovation grant pilot? Can anyone care to explain what all this means?!? http://www.collin.edu/academics/programs/nursing.html And I also noticed that there are other core options that substitutes for Humanities 1301.
