  1. I would worry if you didn't get a bit anxious about NCLEX. After all, once you have made it through nursing school, PN or RN, the biggest test of your life comes next. I graduated from PN school 22 years ago and there really weren't that many "NCLEX review" options around. I just prayed hard and went and took the written test, ALL day!! 2 months later I found out I passed. Many years later I found myself in nursing school again, this time for my BSN. I was very active in my school's SNA and state SNA and that is where I learned about Hurst Review. So needles to say after graduation, I took the live Hurst Review in my area, and the light bulb came on!! I didn't realize how much I had really learned and retained until I took Hurst Review. Knowing I was preparing for NCLEX with a company that does nothing but NCLEX preparation gave me that boost in confidence I needed. Once the review was complete and I had a better understanding of what I really needed to know to pass and that memorization was not what I needed, I took my NCLEX exam(on computer this time). Yes, I passed on my 1st attempt with only 75 questions. So my "Secret" to passing NCLEX is to take the Hurst Review but don't just take my word for it, try out their free trial. Good Luck to all those facing NCLEX in the days ahead!!
  2. I can not speak to the Kaplan review live or online, but I can speak to the Hurst Review. I took Hurst Review many years ago to prepare for NCLEX-RN and passed with 75 questions on my first attempt. Their live review is so interactive, entertaining and everything they teach is specific to NCLEX. It was an amazing feeling to realize I really did know something and the light bulb began to come on. I had so much information in my head from nursing school, that I had no clue where to even begin but Hurst Review did it for me. I still use the knowledge and my book to this day!! Hurst Review covers it all, from content, to application, to test taking strategies, and practice questions. You should try out their free trial!!
  3. Never heard of them but I can tell you that Hurst Review works. I took their review and passed NCLEX with 75 questions my first try. Check out their website. They are offering a free trial. Good Luck!!
  4. Sorry, I can't tell you about Kaplan from personal experience. I can tell you that I took Hurst Review and passed NCLEX the 1st time. Their course really brought it all together for me. Check out their website they are offering a 7 day free trial. Good Luck!!!
  5. Hurst is worth every penny spent!!! I took Hurst Review and I promise on day 2 the light bulb came on and I realized that I really did know something. But I didn't know what was important and what wasn't. I'm not saying that nursing school teaches you stuff that is not important, but trying to figure out what I really needed to know for NCLEX was hard. Find a live review in your area that way you can use their payment plan. Only $50 to register then half your balance on day 1 of review and you can postdate a check for the other half for a month later. I promise you will not be disappointed. Go to their FB page and see the testimonials from students that have gone through exactly what you have gone through. Good Luck!!!
