  1. We now have a FB page everyone!! TCU Accelerated BSN Class of 2015 @ https://www.facebook.com/groups/827800677235545/
  2. I didn't get it... Try looking me up? Stacey Marie Harcourt... its easy to find me cause I have bright red hair...lol
  3. Erica - I sent you a message and friend request on FB. It is required that we all have the healthcare professionals' CPR certification for class. Also, if you can't get to your page on TCU then just call the office and pay over the phone. That's what I did to reserve my seat. Once one of us is friends with another on FB, I can create a page for our class and then y'all can join by searching for it. I spoke to the scheduling head of the program the other day and she gave me a little insight I hadn't gotten previously. We start with a 3 week nursing basics course that is like M-F, 9a-3p. Maymester ends May 30 and we start the 10 week summer semester on June 2. I think we will register for our classes on orientation day; at least that is what my VA rep told me. Otherwise, if you are looking for some information before then, you can always check out the student handbook on the TCU site. Hope some of this helps and we can get that FB page started soon. Look forward to meeting everyone :)
  4. I just did my FAFSA the other day so I guess I will have to wait to here back on that. I am prior military so I have some GI bill benefits, which is really saving me. I wouldn't have been able to go to school without it. I wanted to ask you guys... Has anyone has gotten their CPR certification yet? I was thinking maybe would could get a group of us together to go and take a class? Let me know who needs it and we can figure it out!
  5. OK Scratch that, I guess you can't PM me on here. Just message me on FB. https://www.facebook.com/stacey.m.harcourt
  6. Yea I called in. Didn't show up on my page either. After I did though, they updated my page and said that my seat was reserved :)
  7. I tried to start a page but at least two of us have to be friends on FB to create a new group. If anyone is interested in getting a page together, PM me and we can swap contact info
  8. I would go but I have an A&PII Lab Midterm that day! You will have to fill me in! Going to miss my last A&P lecture and lab before finals (May 2nd) because the mandatory orientation is that day from 8a-5p. I paid my deposit today and accepted my seat. Really excited!!
  9. My classes at TCC end about May 10. I will be jumping from one to another. lol
  10. ME TOO!!! WOOOOOOT!!!! I was caught totally off guard with the acceptance packet on Saturday also! How exciting!! Congrats!!!
  11. Ooooh the suspense...
  12. Sorry for the late response! I am thinking everyone was right when they said I was off my rocker for taking Micro, A&PII, and Chemistry all in the same semester. Those three sciences plus my Religion and Lifespan and Dev courses are REALLY kicking my butt, and its ONLY week TWO! Either way, I got an overall 92 on the HESI test! I was crazy happy that day. I used the official study guide from HESI and it was really helpful... Good Luck tomorrow! I am sure you will do well!! I finished up my resume and personal statement last weekend and submitted my NursingCAS application. Now it's just a waiting game. Hate that game. lol
  13. Just got my grades for this semester! All A's and a B in statistics!! That is such a load off! Next semester is A&P2 and MicroB. Taking the HESI January 10 @ TCU. Taking the prereqs at TCC, which is where the advisor at TCU told me to take them... so I think its fine. I have done some research and it looks like they have had so many applicants in the past that only about 30% were admitted. : / Now that classes are out I plan on studying like crazy for the HESI test and writing my personal statement for the nursingcas application. Seems like March is soooo far away....
  14. Hi Amy -- I'm Stacey. When are you taking the test? I am taking it the first week or so of January. Wanted to wait until I was between semesters. Trying to get the rest of my prereqs done. Worried about my statistics grade. I may end up with a C... unless a miracle happens... :-/ *facepalm*
  15. I'm applying for the TCU ABSN program as well. Pretty nervous about getting in, because it's my first choice and I've heard its super competitive. Have you taken your HESI test and finished all the prereqs? This year they are using the NursingCAS program for applicants. Have you had any issues using it?
