It is easy to go with ideas such as hand washing and or ways to reduce fall risk but I wanted my project to be different from all the others. I want it to be new and interesting. I want the opinion of nurses who are on the floors that deal with these things everyday.

When you attend clinical only 12 days within a 4 month period it can be difficult to determine where areas of improvement should be. Yes, I can come up with simple ideas such as hand washing and ways to reduce fall risk but I wanted the opinion of nurses that have been on the floor for years. I wanted my project to be different and interesting that may set my project apart from others.

I am currently a 4th semester nursing student. I am starting a project for my clinical and I have drawn a blank on what my topic should be. We are to identify areas for improvement in the workplace or clinical area. I am only in the clinical setting one day a week and haven't been able to come up with things that could use some improvements. So for all you that are currently working as a nurse or even a nursing student what are some areas that need improvement in the workplace? Thank you so much for your help!
