  1. Greetings!! I have an upcoming interview tomorrow (8/4/2016) for an adjunct professor in the LVN program at a nearby community college (very reputable). I have no formal teaching experience, other than as a charge nurse precepting new staff members and or students. I have been a RN since 2011 and I am currently in the FNP program, although I am in the process of transferring to the the education track. I guess I am just curious how to prepare for his interview the best way that I can because I really want this job!! The best part of it all is that I will be interviewing with a former nursing professor who is now the director of the entire nursing program at this school. She was my absolute favorite instructor ever in life and I've kept in contact with her over the years (she even wrote a letter of recommendation for me to get into the masters program)!!! She's one tough cookie, but essentially shaped my entire nursing career and I would consider it a great honor and privilege to teach under her leadership and direction. SOOOOO NERVOUS! PLEASE HELP!! Thank you fellow nurses, any and all advice for interview prep is greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone works in this current role I would love to hear your thoughts on your experience thus far. Blessings!!!
  2. Thank you for that. I was more trying to glean insight from someone working in the position. I do have the job description.
  3. Greetings Everyone, I have been applying to UnitedHealth Group for several months now and a recruiter has finally contacted me to schedule a 30 minute phone interview next week. The position is for an After Hours Care Advocate (part time). I was wanting to know if anyone had any experience with interviewing for this or a similar position? Also, I want to know what the position entails (like a typical working day). I am unable to determine if this position is office based or a work from home position. I would really love to work from home with my busy school schedule but am excited either way. Any information you have on the company, salary, job description, especially interview preparation would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! Thank You!!!
  4. Greetings Everyone, I have an interview for the position of RN Scheduler in a OR at one of the local hospitals and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of or worked in this position? I have searched the internet and can't seem to find any information on this type of position or what it entails. I am looking to transition from floor nursing for a while until I finish my MSN in nursing administration. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!
