  1. I did not. Never got 2nd. Just informing anyone who never got 2nd holding out hope.
  2. Got my rejection email yesterday to update. Congrats to those who made it in. I'm not sure if I should ask how to improve application in reply to email or not.
  3. Seemed to me if there's no second interview email then there's no moving forward based on the timeline. "Official" admission decision emails won't change until February I think it read. But no second interview, "no moving forward in application process.” I am also Ohio.
  4. Well now I'm not quite sure what to think. It said by end of business day for emails about 2nd interview.
  5. Didn't they say emails would be by end of business day? How late were your emails?
  6. Retaking them is probably the best idea. You can still always apply, take other pre-reqs, and wait to see if you get in. But A&P is one of the main things nursing schools look at, especially in weighted scales. Getting high C's in a core class for pre-nursing doesn't look good compared to people that get the A's in a competitive stand point. Everyone gets professors that grade hard, but I bet in your class there were people that got A's, curve or no curve. I'm pretty much spitting out what all my advisors told me. Good luck!
  7. I wouldn't say so. Everyone is different. My school does the same with Anatomy, you can take I and II at same time, or one after another, even going II to I. It depends on your time management and multitasking ability. I just finished Bio II, A&P I, and Micro this past semester, all with labs, 15 credit hours and got a 4.0. Everyone is different. If you feel that you can do it and succeed with HIGH grades (always aim for As), then do it. Many people try to multitask and do decent in all their classes, but not great in one. If I can do that all with a newborn daughter, you can do it. Anyone can if they put their minds to it, stay ahead of the readings, and most importantly TIME MANAGEMENT. Eager to hear how you do.
  8. Micro Lecture + Lab: A Biology II Lecture + Lab: A Anatomy and Physiology I Lecture + Lab: A First semester I took since I moved home from Columbus and had a newborn baby (now five months old). Felt rejuvinated being in school finally having a purpose to go. Was scared taking all these sciences since I registered late and got in a week after the semester started, that's all that was left. My kid changed my life, and changed how I view school.
