I am a current travel nurse in L&D and I am looking for an assignment starting in April in Manhattan. My current agency, Cross Country, only has positions available in Brooklyn. Does anyone have a suggestion on any companies to look into, either travel or agency. Also if you have any experiences with those companies, good or bad, or about travel nursing in NYC in general, that would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
  2. I'm very anxious to start travel nursing, I've wanted to do it ever since nursing school. I've been a nurse for a little over 2 years, about a year and a half of med-surg nursing and coming up on a year of high risk labor and delivery experience. I was wondering from those experienced travelers out there, what you think is a good amount of experience to have before I start traveling. How much experience did you have before you started traveling? Any tips you could give me or experiences you could share. Thank you very much!
