Hi there! I'm graduating from nursing school (ACU in Texas) this upcoming May, and I'm looking to move to another state under the multistate compact license (specifically the Mid-South West, such as NM, CO, Utah- even Idaho. I'm an outdoorsy person and want to move where there's mountains!) Is it particularly hard for a new grad to find a job in another state? I'm afraid that HR will see my resume and assume I'm a "random" applicant because I'm from Texas. I'm graduating with above a 3.6 (cum laude), have a year of work experience as a technician on a Med-Surg unit, and have a lot of extra-curricular and leadership experience on my resume to help boost me. Has anyone moved directly to another state after graduation that would have insight into this topic? Thanks in advance! Alicia
