Ok so it's done. I strongly considered fighting the accusations against me because I did not divert (pharmacy audit program picked up a discrepancy and I've NEVER been impaired on the job, no accusations of such either), but that in combination with a refusal to submit to a urinalysis looked incriminating. I would have been required to have an psych eval anyway, and a hair test would have come back positive. And they def would have made me submit to one. I couldn't imagine giving all of my money in savings to a lawyer that would possibly not help me, and in the end manage to find myself in the same situation. I was in the process of applying to CRNA schools. My hopes and dreams have been shattered, but I will have to move forward with what I have and make the best of it. Perhaps I will still be able to attend grad school one day and be a nurse anesthetist. So, I will apply for un-employment and look for jobs. I have another B.S. degree that I can perhaps put to use. I hope I manage to get a fair IPN contract, although I believe there probably is no such thing.
