Hello, I have a question regarding an analysis of a nursing problem using EBP and theory. I have to fit it to my scope of advance practice nursing program. I am going to use dementia and patient-centered care and the ongoing lack of patient care in my facility. I'm not sure how to start the beginning of the paper. Do I begin with information about the facility, the patients, staff, stakeholders and then give a short explanation about what dementia is? Then add the model i've chosen (Iowa model).

Thank you for your help. I'll have to start over and choose something else. I work in long-term care what would you suggest for a topic.

Hello, I was wondering if I can use nurse to patient ratio for a clinical problem using Carper's ways of knowing or should I pick something else. I'm having a difficult time trying to figure out how to do this.

I'm an RN and I've always wanted to work in the OR, but don't have the experience. I was wondering if anyone has taken the surgical tech. course as an RN and if so, how did it work out? What are my other options?
