  1. Congrats! NICU is my absolute dream! Hoping to get a call for the 2nd interview this week some time. Would you be ever so kind as to share some of the questions they asked? I've prepped on a ton of the basic questions, but there aren't many NICU specific interview questions. TIA!!
  2. Yes, I do have a facebook! Jenni Kramer, that's me!
  3. Thank you Chmariee! Apply! The sooner the better, right? :-)
  4. Yeay Nissa!!!!! Exciting, isn't it?!!! I don't know anyone in Victorville. But in Apple Valley I do know a man who rents out nice little houses for a reasonable price. If you're interested ... is there a way to private message on here and I can give you his info?
  5. I was told they accept 20 per cohort. No teas exam at Azusa... and my grades are 3.78 overall gpa. And..... I got a call today, I got in!!
  6. I believe summer applications are being done right now. when you apply, its almost like a rolling application. If I remember correctly, it gives 3 options, like: starting immediately, starting within 6 months and starting within 1 year. The lady who does the Two-Plus-Two option is really nice and helpful. When you apply, she will keep you up to date of all the things you need to do.
  7. I live in the Apple Valley with my husband and son. Hahaha, I think I'm older than the person you may have in mind! :) Are you from the area or are you coming from farther away?
  8. Yep! Sep 19th! That's so funny! Welp, here is to hoping we find out next week, because any longer than that, I might drive myself bonkers! haha
  9. Two weeks from the interview date is what she told me too, which puts it at mid October. I guess being patient will go a long way! :-) My interview was at 10 am, we must have just missed each other! Haha.
  10. It depends! When I first left, I thought, "Hey, that went really well!" and now...as time slowly goes by... I have been second guessing everything I said, did and about all of my academics. Especially with the change up and rescheduling that happened and going from a later interview to one of the first of the day! Yikes! UGH! This is so nerve wracking!!! I hope we find out soon! So, until then, have you finished all of your classes? I am taking a medical terminology class to keep it all fresh in my mind. As well as a couple last classes for the GE Certification.
  11. Every passing day gets harder and harder to concentrate on anything else! How did your interview go? I was crazy nervous, but I think (hope) it went pretty well.
  12. Hi ajarrett01! It seems that not a lot of people on these blogs have much to say or do with the good ol' high desert. haha I hope you got accepted into Fall 2014! I've recently gone through the interview process (new to the high desert starting this semester) for the Two-Plus-Two program for Spring of 2015. Still awaiting the news (should be another week or so... yikes!). If you were accepted... how do you like it so far? Is the schedule and studying as crazy as it seems? Well, good luck (belated, I guess)!
  13. Just went through the interview and am now anxiously awaiting "the call"! Just wanted to see if there are others who are also planning on APU in the Spring of 2015?? We can await our futures together. Hahaha
  14. Boo. Too bad. Though, the experience would be great, and to get out there and actually get my hands dirty (in many ways...har har)! Thanks guys!
  15. Thanks ChristineN! Good advice all the way around.
