  1. That's so awesome!!!! Congratulations!!!!!! Sounds like lots of us are local, so we can help you figure out where to live, etc. Charleston is awesome.
  2. They were working on putting them together when I called yesterday, so I bet we will get them by the end of this week or early next if you are local. I was tired of being scared to go home every day, calling was ripping off the bandaid and getting it over with!! Maci, do you know how much it is to take the BLS at the community center? I'm looking on their website and don't see anything. Seems like most classes elsewhere are $110.
  3. Yay! Congratulations. You guys volunteer at Children's? I work in the office (Emily). You probably know me!
  4. See if this will take you to it: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1374556326116940/
  5. Found it!! Congratulations Olive!
  6. Marci- I tried to respond and it didn't let me. Send me yours and I will friend you? tladd- there's an older thread here that has tons of people who were on alternate status what talked about getting in afterwards. I have my fingers crossed for you!!!
  7. Olive- I hope you get through soon!!!! I think I burned 500 calories from my tachycardia every time I would answer the phone! Marci- There will be two 2015 classes- we will be Spring 2015, right? There will be a May graduating class, and a December graduating class? Maybe we should distinguish?
  8. I think it's time for someone to do a Facebook group so we can all keep the conversation going and talk in more detail that would be creepy on a forum. Marci- you want to get the ball rolling? :) I am so excited now that we have all started talking! As if I didn't potentially squeal and cry on the phone yesterday.... Congratulations to you guys Rosario and flipflop! I thought I would be good to go with vaccines, but it looks like I will have to do a titer as well. Let me know when you are down here, I can probably meet you for coffee or something if you have time!! (insert need for a facebook here- I can't send PMs since I haven't posted enough yet).
  9. Thanks for the tip! I haven't gotten my mail yet, so I'm sure there's a lot I don't know! Where are you going to do it? I'm going to see if it's offered through the hospital (I work in the Children's Hospital right now) but definitely am interested in doing it together. My name is Emily, by the way :) Is anyone planning to try to work during school?
  10. I'm over there regularly!! I'm by Trader Joes. We should all meet up sometime!
  11. YAY!!!! Congratulations!!! She was super friendly when I called- I didn't believe her at first. I wonder if someone has started a Facebook page for our class yet? If not, we should. Anyone already live in Charleston? I'm in Mount Pleasant.
  12. I called (843) 792-6683 and got through. I don't think I have ever shaken so hard hitting call on my phone before!! I called other numbers and didn't get an answer and just called around, so I'm not sure if it technically is who you should be calling, but she did tell me over the phone. Good luck!
  13. You can call now JPTripp...
