  1. Thanks so much!! I wouldn't necessary say that it was easier than I thought it would be. I just wasn't expecting some straight content questions. There were some questions, that you would have to anaylze the disease process..but yeah there were a few that were..what are the s/s of etc?? Good Luck to everybody:)
  2. I don't post very often, but I do read many of these posts! I took NCLEX thursday afternoon and just found out that I passed!!! I had been driving myself crazy, thinking about all the questions that I knew I missed. I was worried that half the questions were in the below passing range, because they didn't seem to require analysis, but rather came straight from disease pathology and etc. I got 6 check all the apply and 3 med cal questions. Good luck to everybody else and thanks for all the support:)
  3. Best of luck to you! I know exactly how you are feeling as the 16th is my test date. Anxiety is quickly taking over. I just finished Kaplan test 7, am going to review a few concepts, then take tommorow off. Good Luck to you!!!!!!!!!
  4. Thanks so much!! Good luck to you as well. I hope you did well on the readiness test. I just did test 3 of the question trainer CD and didn't do very well:( As for the study center, I havent' been to the Kaplan center for their library. However, I have been doing some of the review videos online. They are somewhat helpful.
  5. I took the Kaplan class last week. Prior to the class I had done about 25% of the Qbank questions, and saw maybe 2 repeated questions used during the class. I'm up to about 40% of the questions now, and haven't seen any other repeats (either from the class or on the question trainer CD) I'd say that 95%++ of the questions are new! I'm so glad that I purchased it. It's really easy to use and you can customize practically any kind of tests. I take the NCLEX next week, so hopefully the questions will help. And I agree, when I first started kaplan (well the q bank questions especially) I was making really low grades compared to my school grades and how I did on the Saunder's book and CD. I hope it works! Good Luck:)
  6. How long did it take the board to allow you to take the NCLEX from when you sent in the application, transcripts, etc. I was thinking it would be sooner rather than later, but I didn't realize that the background check and fingerprinting had to be processed prior to that. I guess I had just assumed that would need to be completed prior to getting your license, but not setting up to test. I'm concerned that it might take several additional weeks to process everything before I can even set up to take the test. Also, does this state do 2 day results. Would I be able to look on the pearson website in 48 hours and see that I have/haven't passed, thanks! Thanks for any help!
