  1. Just checked Cecil and most of the classes are okay, but then there are some that do not have times listed such as the Med Surg Clinical Labs and Care of Adult and Aging. Just wanted an idea from someone currently in these classes.
  2. Yes, that is what I did and from the looks of it I would have to go to Del Tech in Dover since much closer. Although I am a MD resident I can pay the in state tuition if I work 30 hrs a week and pay taxes in Delaware---which will be hard to do while taking care of my mom and going to school---her daycare closes at 4p so really a challenge.
  3. Hi All; I am interested in the LPN programs at Cecil Community College and Del Tech Terry campus, but concerned about start times for clinicals since I am caring for my mom and her adult daycare opens at 7a. Looks like Del Tech starts at 8a, which is great and closer, but would be out of state since I am a MD resident. Cecil looks to start at 6:30a which would be a problem since it would be an hour drive for me and mom's daycare opens at 7a, but I would pay the in state tuition---just the long drive is a problem and getting there on time. Does anyone know about the start times for these clinicals? Thanks!
  4. Hi, I am new to the site and currently working as a home health aide with Christiana VNA and love my job. I have been told by my patients and bosses that I am really gifted as an aide but would like to take it to the next level as an LPN. I am 50 and feel this would be a good place for me---not really interested in expanding to RN. My question is what is the program like at Terry and what is the class and clinical schedule like since I must keep working full time to support myself. Is there a day and evening choice? Once you get into the nursing classes how many must you take per semester? Can you limit the nursing classes to maybe 2 per semester? I know I will need to attend an information session since the website gives limited information. I will need to eventually adjust my work schedule so need to know in advance about class times. Any information given is extremely appreciated:) Susan
