  1. What company are you looking into?
  2. By the time I plan to travel I will not be a new grad. I'm starting to look into things now though.
  3. I plan to stay in Az a year and finish my BSN, but I want to be able to go back and forth between here and Ohio to be with my family.
  4. I'm asking more if it is possible to choose your assignments and the places you practice. I'd specifically want to work in these cities each time.
  5. Thank you. Still new to all the topics :)
  6. Hi everyone! I am preparing to graduate nursing in December with my ADN and will have my BSN by December 2016. Question: Is it possible to do travel nursing within the first year? And also is it possible to pick your assignments? I am wanting to spend half the year in Arizona and half the year in Ohio so I can be with my family. I wasn't sure if this was an option. Can y'all help? Thank you!
  7. Thank you all for your responses! I didn't set up my notifications right so I just now saw these. I appreciate your time and was lucky enough to meet with an advisor who also said what was posted here.
  8. Hi everyone! I have been researching for a couple weeks now about what direction to take when I get my ADN in December of this year. I have 3 options I am considering and even though I have found threads about them, most of them are dated to a couple years ago. So here's the scoop: I get my ADN in December from a community college in Arizona. I am crossing my fingers I get hired after my NCLEX and want to immediately start on my BSN (my ultimate goal is my Masters so I can teach the future nurses). My preference is one that is completely online, with the hours at work counting as my clinicals, the least expensive (I already will have some student loans) and the one that will give me the best education. I'd like to also complete it within 1-2 years of finishing my ADN. My options that I have been considering now are NAU, ASU and Western Governors. If you have completed or have started any of these programs your input is so greatly appreciated! I'd love to hear about your experience, the cost and how it worked with the full-time schedule as an RN. Feel free to give the good, bad, ugly and everything you can. I am unsure where to go yet and what to do. Thank you! P.S. Ask any questions if I'm unclear or if there's something you need to know. :) Feeling Excited!
  9. Hey y'all! I've been trying to find information about what I should do regarding my situation. I hope someone can help and clarify. I will hopefully be graduating in Dec 2015 with my ADN from Arizona. My family is planning on moving to Tennessee when I graduate so I am unsure how to go about applying for jobs. Do I have to work in Arizona my first year or is it possible to get a job in another state? I'm not sure how I would go about any of this. I will be taking my NCLEX in AZ after graduation. How will this work as far as me moving? Hope this makes sense, but I just want to know how I should prepare. Do I stay in AZ and work or do I move to TN and hope it all transfers (if that's how it works because I'm unsure of that too)? Thank you in advance!
