  1. Hi Jennifer87, The interview was not too bad, very straight forward. Questions like why crna, tell me about your floor, sickest patient, etc. Nothing out of left field, and definitely no grilling. You also go on a tour with a current student. There's a quiz at the end that's CCRN-like, which I didn't feel too great about, but I'm not sure how much weight is placed on it because I was accepted and I'll be starting there this Fall! I can't wait. Good Luck with your interview. I'm sure it'll go well, let me know how it goes.
  2. Hi all--- I was lucky enough to get into four schools: VCU, Albany Medical Center, UPitt & Wake Forest, but am having trouble deciding between the four. My heart is leaning towards Albany because it's closest to my family, but I don't know how much I should weigh that into the decision. It also seems to have great clinicals with some CRNA-only facilities. One of the only downsides I see is that many clinicals are as many as four hours away, which would mean being far my hubby for extended periods of time. I'd appreciate any personal insight to each school. What would you all choose & why? Thanks in advance for any help & advice! :)
  3. Hi pedsnurse4life- any chance you can give me more info on your friend's perspective of Albany's program? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks :)
  4. Hi Missy121, I'll be interviewing at Albany next month and am very excited. I'm hoping to start next fall. I was wondering if you could tell me more about the program. Are you happy with it? What would you say are its strengths and weaknesses? I can't see too many posts about it, and am mostly wondering about the student experience. How big is your class? How were clinicals? Did you find that you competed with anesthesiololy residents? Thanks in advance for your help! Looking forward to hearing from you.
  5. Hey y'all! I am in too. So excited!! Cant wait to meet you guys and get started.
  6. Hey all! I'm happy to say that I was just accepted to start fall 2014 . I'm so excited! My husband and I were not too craxy about Richmond though when we visited, what's it really like to live there? Where do y'all live? Is there stuff to do? Nature-y stuff nearby? Also, how's the school itself? Do you like it? I guess that should have been my first question. Lol. Thanks in advance for your help!
  7. Does anybody know how many interview days there were?
