  1. I have never seen TPN stopped/clamped for any period of time. Is this just me? I have also seen lipids only given in the evening, for whatever reason. I believe this is a really good question!!! :)
  2. The informed patient is the best patient, but that does not mean that the informed patient is going to make the same decision the rest of society is going to. This could be based on religious beliefs or general up bringing. Their is a lot of cultural diversity in nursing and we also need to respect that as well.
