CSULB Fall 2014
I don't remember exactly, but I think it was around an 8.9-9, so I know for a fact that I didn't get in since the cut off was at 9.3 this year. I think it's just odd that they haven't sent anything out yet! Especially since they even emailed me for verification that I took the wet lab at Coastline. I would imagine they would send out rejection letters before acceptance (or interview) ones...

CSULB Fall 2014
How did you guys find out you got accepted? Was it via email or did they send a letter in the mail? Just curious, since I haven't received anything... Not even a rejection letter and interviews were already conducted.

CSULB Fall 2014
Wow, the cut-off was 9.3 this semester?! Good job to everyone that got in! My score was juuust below a 9, so I guess that means I didn't make it. Weird though, I thought they usually send out rejection letters first? Did anyone else get a rejection letter? I received nothing.

CSULB Fall 2014
True, the Fall 2013 admits did have ridiculously high scores... hopefully this year isn't as competitive! I already applied to GWC's program as a backup and will apply to LBCC as well, but CSULB is my dream nursing school!

CSULB Fall 2014
I'm planning on applying for Fall 2014, but I'm still waiting for my transcripts to come in... Judging from last year's cut-off, I don't think I'm going to make it, but I'm going to apply in case a miracle happens! Science GPA: 3.28 Pre-Req GPA: 3.75 Overall TEAS: 92% Math TEAS: 96.7% Judging from those scores, my score should be an 8.929 which isn't competitive whatsoever. :/ Ended my Anatomy, Physiology, and Statistic classes with 89%s... I'm still kicking myself over it!! Praying that somehow the applicant pool is far less competitive this year!

What are my chances of getting into nursing school?
I'm not sure about the other schools, but I think you wouldn't be eligible for CSULB... They don't allow any W's on transcripts. I don't know what other schools' stances are on that, but your stats look pretty good otherwise!

CSULB Fall 2014
Thanks for the optimism! I need it lol. Well, my back-up was Cal State Fullerton, but their nursing program is closed to 2014 transfers due to budget cuts. Soooo... it's just CSULB for me. If I don't get in then I will try again in the spring (I heard it's a bit easier to get into then?) and take more pre-reqs to see if I can get into any UC's.

CSULB Fall 2014
Your stats look pretty good! I'm sure you'll get a spot. I also applied to CSULB's program, but I have three borderline grades, which could mean a total point value ranging anywhere from a 8.955 to a 9.3... So I'm not sure if I'll get in. Hopefully the average isn't too high this year!
